"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."
I was born in Minneapolis, but my family moved to Boulder, Colorado when I was 7 so it was basically inevitable that I’d become obsessed with mountains and the great outdoors. In middle school, I joined my school’s outdoor education club (nerd alert) and we’d take trips to go cross-country skiing or backpacking through Canyonlands National Park.
After a year and a half of college at CU Boulder, and a brief stint living in Los Angeles, I finished by B.A. at a tiny university tucked away in the mountains of southwestern Colorado.
In 2011, I was out dancing and met the love of my life – 4 years later we got hitched and it’s been the greatest adventure of all.
Now, I’m a digital marketer working in Denver, escape to the mountains every chance I get, and am working my way through my travel bucket list, one passport stamp at a time.
